Creative Identity. Digital & Print Design. 3D. Motion.

After a competitive pitch process for Red Bull Music, I was selected to deliver the creative for Red Bull Music Odyssey, a large scale music event on The Thames, London.

As the sole creative I conceptualised, created, artworked and delivered the designs across a wide range of platforms and applications. Everything from a full suite of social media assets, large OOH and DOOH pieces displayed nationally, and full-platform takeovers on media applications such as Spotify and Shazam.

To match the forward thinking nature of the event I created something futuristic, compelling and unique, working as a combined set, or as individual stand alone pieces.

My inspiration came from the old air-brushed artwork used in classic rave flyers. I wanted to create something with a similar feeling but that used modern design technology.

Using 3D modelling software and photoshop I created a series of 3D images and animations. I used metallic liquid textures and animated waves to express the unique aquatic location of the events. As a further nod to old rave artwork I echoed the common themes of existentialism, what the future holds, robotics and surrealism.

The event took place over 6 boats. They needed something that could flex over 6 different creatives, all fitting into one overarching theme.
